Cambridge Science Park appoints Senior Director to deliver bold vision for its future

Cambridge Science Park has appointed Keith Purdie as Senior Director of Development and Operations, strengthening its leadership team and bringing together day-to-day operations with the Park’s long-term strategic direction.

Keith will lead the Cambridge Science Park management team, overseeing operations across the site while supporting the progression of the estate masterplanning work as it moves through planning. His role ensures a coordinated approach to managing Cambridge Science Park today, while supporting its future development as a leading UK science and technology campus.

He joins from Colworth Science Park, where as Commercial Director he led the transformation of the site into a high-performing science campus, supporting innovation-led growth across the food, health and life sciences sectors. He brings more than 15 years’ experience across estates, operations, commercial strategy and stakeholder partnerships.

Jamie Trivedi-Bateman, Director of Investment for Trinity College Cambridge, said: “Keith’s appointment marks an important step forward as we progress our long-term vision for Cambridge Science Park. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding the masterplanning process and ensuring the Park continues to evolve to meet the needs of world-leading science and technology companies.”

Keith Purdie added: “Great science needs the right environment to thrive. Cambridge Science Park already has that foundation. My focus is on building on it in a way which supports innovation, community and long-term growth.”

Backed by founder Trinity College Cambridge’s long-standing commitment to science and technology, Cambridge Science Park has long been a place where world-changing ideas take root. For more than 55 years, its work has had global impact, from cancer treatments to secure online payment systems, smartphone technology and more sustainable materials and packaging.
