Investment boost for Xampla

Xampla has secured new investment from Ahlström Invest B.V., marking a significant boost for its mission to replace single-use plastics with plant-based alternatives.

The Amsterdam-headquartered investor, which focuses on industrial innovation and sustainable materials, is backing Xampla as it scales its natural polymer technology across packaging, coatings and consumer products.

The investment comes at a time of growing commercial momentum for the company. Xampla’s plastic-free Morro™ Coating has recently launched across ten European markets through a partnership with Just Eat Takeaway, supported by new packaging developed by Huhtamaki.

The latest investment reflects growing confidence in the company’s technology, and signals increasing demand for sustainable material solutions worldwide.
