For our February Software Crafters Cambridge meetup, we are hosting an “unconference”!
This event promises an evening of engaging discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities focused on the themes of your interests. We hope you’ll come away with some new ideas to tackle your most pressing challenges and find a path to successful solutions within your own career and organisation.
Format
Rather than formal presentations, we are giving everyone attending an opportunity to shape the agenda to focus on your preferences. Our event will therefore be run “unconference” style where you’ll be given the chance to co-create the topics to be discussed.
How does it work?
You’ll be given the opportunity to write topic suggestions around a tech theme on sticky notes. These will be added to a board and the group will vote on their favourite topics. The most popular will be selected and attendees then move into smaller breakout groups to discuss and come up with ideas and solutions. You’ll be able to move around the groups to give you the opportunity to gain as much insight as possible.
Whether you’re the type to proactively ask questions or prefer to sit back and listen to the inquiries of others, this event is tailored to suit both introverted and extroverted personalities.
