Xaar giving fund continues its support for local charities

Two charities have received £2000 each in donations from Xaar, the leading inkjet printing technology group, based in Cambridgeshire.  Both the Special Care Baby Unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Wood Green, The Animals Charity, have been this year’s beneficiaries of Xaar’s employee-nominated donations. For almost 10 years, Xaar’s Charity Giving Fund has asked its staff across its UK sites to vote for a local charity of personal significance to them, and both of this year’s winners were equally well supported. Hinchingbrooke Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit is staffed by doctors and nurses with specialist skills and experience in looking after premature and sick babies and is open 24 hours per day, 365 days a year, offering support and expert treatment to families in the most difficult of times, and this has become even more difficult during the current pandemic.
