Willow weaving and wellbeing

Park members took a break from their desks this week to join a free Willow Weaving workshop, delivered in partnership with The Wildlife Trusts.

Participants made their own bird feeders, picking up a new skill while enjoying conversation, and a change of pace from the working day.

This session is part of our ongoing partnership with The Wildlife Trusts, which also includes monthly wildlife walks and other nature-based activities focused on wellbeing and connection.

One Park member explained: “It’s been a welcome excuse to get away from my desk, try something new, and chat to other Park members. It makes working on the Park special”.

These events form part of the Cambridge Science Park member experience and can be used for team building, social time, or simply as a creative wellbeing break during the working week.
