Park members came together for our annual community picnic and sustainable travel event, combining an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the Park with practical advice and information on greener ways to travel.
Designed to help make journeys to and from the Park more sustainable, the event showcased the wide range of travel options available to our community and the support on offer for those looking to make a change.
There was plenty to get involved with, from pedal-powered smoothies with Outspoken Cycles and bike security marking from Cambridgeshire Constabulary to free cycle helmets from Voi Scooters and prizes provided by FLIT. We were also delighted to welcome a range of organisations sharing information on cycle services, car clubs, public transport and future travel plans for the region.
As part of our programme of more than 100 events each year, the event provided another opportunity to bring our community together while highlighting practical ways to travel more sustainably.
