Park members dominate awards shortlist

It’s a strong showing for Cambridge Science Park in this year’s Cambridge Independent Business Awards, with Park members shortlisted across five of the 14 categories.

AVEVA, Frontier Developments and Gearset are all finalists for Business of the Year – Large, while Gearset is also shortlisted for Employer of the Year and The Mayor’s Award for Scale-up of the Year, alongside fellow Park member Jumptech.

Owlstone Medical and Welbeck Health Partners are in the running for The Award for Collaboration, with Cambridge Science Centre shortlisted for Social Enterprise of the Year.

Pragmatic Semiconductor completes the Park line-up with a nomination for The Green Award.

The Cambridge Independent Business Awards recognise outstanding business achievement and the contribution businesses make to the Cambridgeshire economy.

Winners will be announced at a gala at King’s College, Cambridge, on Thursday 24 September.
