Park companies celebrate success at Cambridge Independent Business Awards

Park companies picked up four wins and two Highly Commended awards at the Cambridge Independent Business Awards 2026.

The awards, now in their third year, celebrate businesses and organisations from across the Cambridge region, with this year’s winners announced at a ceremony at King’s College on 24 September.

It was a particularly successful night for Gearset, which took home two awards. The software company was named Business of the Year – Large and Employer of the Year, recognising its approach to supporting employees and strong staff retention.

Owlstone Medical and Welbeck Health Partners won the Award for Collaboration for their work to bring small intestinal bacterial overgrowth testing into patients’ homes, helping improve access to testing for gut health issues.

Jumptech won the Mayor’s Award for Scale-up of the Year. Its software has now supported more than 500,000 low-carbon technology installations, including EV chargers and solar panels, across 22 countries.

Cambridge Science Centre was Highly Commended in the Social Enterprise of the Year category, while Frontier Developments was Highly Commended for Business of the Year – Large.

Congratulations to all the Park organisations recognised on the night.
