Nyobolt, the original founder of ultra-fast charge, high-power lithium-ion battery technology, has hired ex-Mercedes and Ricardo specialist Shane Davies to lead its Software and Controls department. The team aims to deliver Cambridge-based Nyobolt’s innovative and advanced battery and charging technology into customer projects. With over 25 years of expertise in the automotive industry, Davies led development teams across multiple areas within hybrid and electric vehicles segments. His career began in 1996 in Cambridge-based software startup Tarragon Embedded technology; he has subsequently worked for Ricardo, MathWorks and Mercedes AMG in senior roles. Nyobolt’s globally-renowned experts have pioneered a new class of battery technology, achieving record-breaking ultrafast charging and the world’s highest power batteries.
