Cambridge Consultants maintains 2-star ‘outstanding’ accreditation
The rankings were announced at a gala dinner in London, with Cambridge Consultants again placed ahead of many household names – for the second year in a row. As with last year’s survey, the results revealed that the vast majority of Cambridge Consultants staff believe they can make a valuable contribution to the firm’s success – and are proud to be part of the company. Employees find the variety of challenging projects good for their own growth – and they are happy with the pay and benefits they receive.
“It’s fantastic that our staff still think we are one of the best companies to work for in the UK,” said Alan Richardson, CEO of Cambridge Consultants. “Last year was the first time we had entered the award scheme – and we were thrilled to receive 2-star accreditation at the first attempt. To have maintained that accreditation and again featured in the ‘top 100’ list shows that our efforts to preserve our unique working culture as we grow are proving successful.”
Cambridge Consultants recruited 90 people in the UK last year, taking its global workforce to 450 – with equally strong recruitment plans for 2015. It has just opened new £6m wireless technology development facilities at its Cambridge Science Park headquarters – and completed expansion work on the restaurant in the company’s main building, which serves free lunches to staff every day. Employees also receive a comprehensive healthcare package and a performance-related bonus scheme. An active social club gives the company a ‘family feel’. Half a million pounds a year is invested in training.
