Jain has 14 years’ experience in the Indian healthcare industry – spanning drug delivery devices, pharmaceuticals and medical products. His remit at Cambridge Consultants is to develop new business opportunities in India for the company’s global drug delivery device development team.
From inhalers and nebulisers to auto-injectors, the Cambridge Consultants drug delivery team works with some of the world’s largest blue-chip companies as well as with some of the smallest, innovative start-ups. The team’s drug delivery device developments have been successfully launched on international markets and have gained design awards in their own right – for example, the Novartis TOBI Podhaler, Chiesi’s NEXThaler, and the Starhaler for leading Indian pharmaceutical research company Sun Pharma.
“We provide clients with an unparalleled skill set – from product design, human factors and mechanical engineering, through software, electronics and wireless communications, to life science – enabling them to trust us with their most technically and commercially challenging projects,” said Jain, who is based in Delhi.
“No matter where they are in the world, companies must embrace innovation and adopt technology if they are to stay competitive at both a domestic and global level. I am looking forward to working with a range of Indian pharmaceutical and medical device companies to help them bring innovative products to market fast.”
