Lunchtime yoga returns to the Park

Working at Cambridge Science Park comes with plenty of opportunities to get involved beyond the working day itself – from sport and social events to activities designed to support health and wellbeing.

Our latest lunchtime yoga sessions saw Park members roll out their mats for two free, bite-sized sessions led by Sam Grapes of Find My Place Coaching.

Designed to fit easily into the working day, the sessions focused on helping people unwind, move and release some of the physical and mental tension which can build up during a busy day.

Sam brings an interesting perspective to the sessions. Before moving into full-time coaching and body-mind practice, she spent 31 years working in IT, including 18 years at companies including IBM and Zendesk. She understands first-hand the pressures of working life and the value of making time for physical and mental wellbeing.

Yoga joins a growing programme of free activities for Park members, including sport, fitness, social events and nature walks. They all play a part in creating a strong Park community, while supporting the health and wellbeing of the people who work here.

Following the first sessions, we’ll be running regular lunchtime yoga for Park members.

Look out for the next session on our Events page.
