The role
 

We are looking for a Service Delivery Specialist to join our IT Service Support Team. As a Service Delivery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering and supporting internal, colleague facing, technology services within our organisation. You will be responsible for Continual Service Improvement, working to identify and execute opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of technology service delivery and to objectively measure the effects of these efforts over time.

 

Your expertise in ITIL best practice, problem solving, and supplier management will be instrumental in achieving service improvement objectives and contributing to the overall success of the organisation. You will report to the Service Support Manager and collaborate closely with colleagues in the Service Support team and the Infrastructure and System Administrator teams, to coordinate service delivery efforts.

 

In this role it is expected that you will attend the office as needed for your role. If you need flexible working arrangements, please outline this in your application.

 
What we are looking for:

 

  • Experience of working as part of an IT support team and delivering service improvements is essential
  • ITIL Foundation qualification
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure (devices, operating systems, ITSM tools, MS O365, conferencing tools, AV equipment, active directory services, networks etc.) used within a corporate IT environment.
  • Demonstrates an excellent understanding of customers and their requirements; uses technical skills and experience to determine how we can help them achieve their goals.
  • Maintains a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with our customers and demonstrates a customer focussed behaviour at all times.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and is able to explain technical concepts equally to customers with a level of technical understanding and those without.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude and a willingness to work in a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Experience of documenting requirements and managing suppliers to deliver service improvements.
  • Plans, schedules, and prioritises tasks competently within deadlines and in line with relevant processes.
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, such as password management, user management, and access control.
  • Can identify common security threats, such as phishing, social engineering, and malware and understands the actions that might be taken against them.
  • Experience of ServiceNow, JavaScript, Powershell, knowledge of markup languages such as HTML, XML and familiarity with stylesheet languages like CSS an advantage
  • Experience using SCCM or InTune for software deployments and device imaging an advantage.
