About Cerevance

Cerevance is an emerging Biotech harnessing a novel technology platform to deliver life-changing therapeutics for patients with central nervous system diseases. Cerevance is generating unprecedented human CNS expression data sets, from which novel targets are being identified for innovative drug discovery programs. Based on this approach, we have built a strong pipeline, with projects at various development stages, ranging from target validation and hit identification to lead optimization, as well as clinical stage.

We are seeking to recruit a motivated scientist with experience in the anatomical analysis of gene expression in human CNS.

 Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will have human tissue laboratory experience including: working to the standards required by the HTA, tissue banking, tissue processing, sectioning, manual and automated IHC and in situ hybridization. Microscopy and human neuroanatomy / neuropathology experience preferred.

 In collaboration with team members, the individual will contribute to early research and target validation programs through gene localization assays.  

 The candidate will be integrated in a small human tissue / neuroanatomy team

Requirements

 A successful candidate will be HepB immunized and bring at least 3 years of industry experience in an research pathology / human tissue group.
