Job Description: Associate Scientist/Scientist In Vitro Pharmacology

Our UK research operation based in Cambridge (Cambridge Science Park) is seeking to appoint an Associate Scientist or Scientist (depending on prior work experience). This role is within the in vitro pharmacology team and will involve working closely with team members to support cell culture, assay development and compound profiling activities. Prior experience in cell culture and/or in vitro enzymatic assays is highly advantageous, although training will be provided. An ability to work carefully and methodically in parallel with delivering high standards of quality and attention to detail is a key requirement for this role. This position requires a candidate who is highly organised, motivated, flexible, has excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic.

This role provides an opportunity to work within a vibrant neuroscience drug discovery environment and as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have a B.Sc. in a relevant biology related discipline or considerable, relevant laboratory experience. Recent graduates and scientists with a few years of Industry experience in Biotech or Pharma are encouraged to apply.
