JAGEX – Corporate ambassadors for Women in Games

The Diversity Group at Jagex is proud to announce that we have become a Corporate Ambassador for Women in Games. We’re excited to support this not-for-profit organisation, which promotes the vital role of women in the global games industry. We hope that the collaboration will enable us to help one another with exciting initiatives that level the industry’s playing field and celebrate diverse talents. Marie-Claire Isaaman, CEO of Women in Games, says: “Jagex is a stellar UK games company – RuneScape is an extraordinary game, a living game, with a global following and strong community engagement. It is also a games company that continues to build its positive workplace culture. “Jagex team members were supported to attend our Women in Games European Conference 2019 and we were delighted to meet with so many staff at the event. And now we are thrilled that Jagex have formalised a relationship with us by becoming a Women in Games Corporate Ambassador. This closer relationship will help us both drive cultural change and create a more diverse and inclusive games industry. “Women in Games worked with UKIE to provide advice, guidance and support for the development of #RaiseTheGame and I am therefore particularly delighted that Jagex, one of the founding pledge partners, will now be partnering with us, to promote gender equity and parity as part of that wider drive to foster and champion diversity and inclusion throughout the sector.” Read more
