Grant Thornton appoints new Head of Not for Profit

Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has appointed Paul Rao as its new Head of Not for Profit Paul has been with Grant Thornton for seven years, having joined from Mazars in 2014.  He leads the firm’s Charity and wider Not for Profit Business Risk Services practice, delivering internal audit, risk management and governance services to clients ranging from top five charities by income to smaller, niche professional membership organisations. Paul is a member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) technical guidance working group and is also Deputy Chair of the North West Committee at the IIA.  He is also Deputy Chair of the Internal Audit Editorial Board at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Association (CIPFA).  Read more
