What does Brexit mean for your organisation? Are you ready to deal with the EU on “rest of world” terms? How might your VAT accounting change?
12:30 - 13:30
A 31st January Brexit of sorts now appears a likely event as a result of the general election.
This may herald a short transitional period until December 2020, during which existing arrangements between the UK and the EU may persist, or an extended transition may be sought.
Whilst there are many unanswered questions, the increased certainty of the UK’s direction brings increased urgency to making your organisation ready for Brexit. How will you ensure that it will be as close to “business as usual” after we depart?
Grant Thornton is pleased to offer a practical session on the potential changes that may impact your organisation. VAT and Customs Duties will be our focus, along with commercial and organisational factors that will influence Brexit planning.
Are you ready for these changes? Come along and find out key VAT and Customs considerations regarding Brexit. VAT specialists from Grant Thornton, located within the Science Park, will be hosting a one hour session at the Auditorium in the Bradfield Centre on Tuesday 14 January 2020 at 12:30. The session will be an opportunity to refresh your understanding and questions will be encouraged.
