Towards a smart, new North-East Cambridge district

The new North East Cambridge District comprises an area of over 160 hectares and includes the land between Cambridge North train station and Cambridge Science Park. The vision is that: ‘North East Cambridge will be a socially and economically inclusive, thriving, and low-carbon place for innovative living and working; inherently walkable where everything is on your doorstep.’
The opportunity here is to transform the area into an innovation district of Cambridge and a showcase for new ideas in smart living.
