ParksatOne - Genetics, God and the future of humanity
13:00
Our topic is Genetics, God and the future of humanity
Rapid advances in genetic engineering, robotics and other sciences are challenging our understanding of what it means to be human. Can science resolve key ethical questions? What resources does faith bring to the table in the age of genomics? And how do differing worldviews - scientific and Christian influence how these ethical approaches are applied in practice?
We are delighted to welcome our speaker Dr Denis Alexander who is the Emeritus Director of the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion at the University of Cambridge and who has decades of expertise and experience in this field.
Do join us if you can for what will be a relevant and helpful talk.
Also please do check the website for upcoming events in June and July
Parks At One will be meeting in the Trinity Centre. Food is available to purchase at the cafe on site or free to bring your own lunch while you listen.
