Visit the Cambridge IP (intellectual property) clinic for an opportunity to discuss how you may be able to protect your inventions or brand. The clinic is free and you will have a chance to speak to a qualified patent attorney for 20 to 30 minutes about patents, trade marks, copyright, etc.
Are you interested in protecting your inventions, designs or brand but don’t know where to start? TLIP Ltd and the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) have launched a new IP clinic in Cambridge that is intended to give basic, general advice on how your intellectual property (IP) may be protected and the next steps you need to take to get IP protection. The IP clinic will run every month or two months in Cambridge, depending on demand.
These free clinics provide anyone in Cambridge with the opportunity to discuss their ideas with a qualified patent attorney and member of CIPA. The patent attorney will be able to provide general advice on all aspects of IP, including patents and trade marks. The discussions are confidential, and each meeting will last around 20 to 30 minutes.
Please note, the CIPA IP clinics are not intended for anyone who is already well-versed in IP rights, or anyone who is seeking a second opinion or advice on how to deal with an official letter.
On Tuesday 10th January in Unit 250, Cambridge Science Park, Milton Road, Cambridge, CB4 0FZ from 11am to 2pm
