Medical Devices + Data: Future-proofing Health & Care

The IET Think BIG Series entitled, “Medical Devices + Data: Future-proofing health & care”, organised with the support of the Eastern Academic Health Science Network and Medcity, will take place in Cambridge at the Bradfield Centre on the 22nd November 2018.

The event will bring together leading scientists, engineers, opinion formers, politicians, thought leaders and the media to discuss the opportunities and challenges that big data and Medical devices present. Medical devices are indispensable for health care delivery, but that their selection, regulation and use present enormous ethical and practical challenges. We hope to learn, discuss and understand the achievements that have been made in the field and to explore the challenges that still lie ahead.
