Book Club - 13 May 2024

Our next book is Everyone On This Train Is A Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson and then we will read The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller in June. 

In April we discussed A Heritage of Blood and Magic by Mirna Chandrakumar. This was the first in a trilogy of books, and we did enjoy the world created but felt some of the prose and character development was tricky to get through, with some of us struggling to get into the book. No one was quite sure if they would read the next book but as this was, for a lot of us, out of our ‘normal genre’ we enjoyed it more than we felt we would.
