PeroCycle is a Cambridge-based deep technology company developing innovative carbon recycling solutions to help decarbonise steel production and other heavy industries. The company’s technology creates a closed carbon loop by converting captured carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions into carbon monoxide, which can be reused within industrial processes as a lower-carbon alternative to traditional fossil-based inputs. By integrating with existing steelmaking infrastructure, PeroCycle aims to significantly reduce emissions without requiring complete replacement of current industrial systems.
