The Park continues to raise the bar for sustainable science and technology workplaces, with the transformation of 334 Cambridge Science Park into one of the region’s highest-performing office buildings.
Led by Trinity College Cambridge, founder and steward of Cambridge Science Park, the extensive refurbishment demonstrates how investment in existing buildings is creating high-quality, future-ready workspace for businesses to innovate, grow and thrive.
The 34,000 sq ft building has achieved a 5.5-star NABERS UK Design for Performance rating, one of the highest independent standards for commercial office buildings, recognising its expected operational energy performance.
The refurbishment includes solar photovoltaic panels, energy-efficient LED lighting, high-performance heating and cooling systems, alongside flexible office and research and development space and enhanced shared amenities designed to meet the evolving needs of science and technology businesses.
The building has already attracted strong interest, with more than half the space under offer before completion, reflecting continued demand for high-quality, sustainable workspace within Cambridge’s internationally recognised innovation cluster.

The refurbishment forms part of Trinity College’s ongoing investment in Cambridge Science Park, where sustainability, innovation and long-term stewardship remain central to the Park’s future development. This investment also supports the Park’s recently submitted 30-year masterplan, which will deliver 20,000 new jobs and increase its annual economic output to more than £3 billion.
