Black Talent & Leadership in STEM shortlisted for Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2024

We are delighted to announce that Black Talent & Leadership in STEM has been shortlisted for the ‘STEM Initiative of the Year’ award by the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2024. Winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony taking place on 16th May 2024 at Hinxton Hall at the Wellcome Genome Campus.     Paul Brackley, Editor of the Cambridge Independent and Chair of the Judging Panel, said: “Congratulations to all the nominees who made the shortlists. This year’s awards were more competitive than ever and the standard of entry was exceptionally high – an indication of the incredible work going on across the region in so many fields of science and technology.”   Olu Orugboh, Programme Director of Black Talent & Leadership in STEM, said: “Having this recognition is a huge boost to the Black Talent & Leadership in STEM movement.
